Architectural design
Bioclimatic and aesthic principles are combined to produce a harmonious architecture making best use of spaces and available heights. South facing buildings allow exploitation of natural light and sun, the pitched roof being specifically designed to support a 10kw photovoltaic array to take advantage of the orientation.
Our single storey house of 86m² consists of a combined living/dining/kitchen, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom, with a pitched roof over.
Our two-storey house of 108m² consists of an open plan kitchen/living/dining area, two bedrooms, bathroom and storeroom on the ground floor. A staircase leads to the upper level with an office space with access to a terrace.
IQia’s method of exterior waterproofing prevents the formation of condensation not only on masonry surfaces but also in-between the different layers of construction materials used.
Waterproofing of the walls ensures durability and the prevention of fungi/ mould appearing within the building, which can cause serious health problems.
